Trust Neither Your Eyes Nor Your Ears
If I had told you 10 or 20 years ago that it was written and foretold more than three millennia ago that, as the ages draw to a close, the architects of falsehood would cast such a heavy veil of sorcery over the earth that the minds of men would be swallowed by shadows, no longer able to divide the eternal truth from the grand illusion, and that the intellectual world would become clueless and confused, you would have called it nonsense.
Yet today, your own eyes are witnessing something that would once have seemed impossible.
What is around you is messing with you. They are fooling you.
So am I, for I do not actually know of such an ancient message concerning the former.
But I do know the latter.
Obadiah 1:8
“On that day,” declares the LORD,
“I will destroy the wise men of Edom,
the men of understanding in the mountains of Esau.”
Trust neither what your eyes see nor what your ears hear, for the truth lies in neither, but in the Spirit, as God showed the prophet Samuel in 1 Samuel 16:7.
1 Samuel 16:7
“People look at the outward appearance,
but the LORD looks at the heart.”
For it is in the heart that the Lord searches, and there the Spirit bears witness to the truth.
